  1. Legend. Watch it and not feel that pain and emotion. I dare you.

Kristian Bush said that watching her do three takes of this song was so emotionally draining for him, he could barely make it through the session, and was spent and drained before Noon. I get it, Kristian. Nobody who cares for her on any level could watch that and not react that way.

  2. Just want to know if people realize this song is written from the opposite point of view. She wants him to leave his wife. But she realizes it's not gonna happen. Amazing song and such emotion just want to make sure who listens to it understands though what it's about

  3. And your lies and your bullshit can stay strong and well. So you dont have to keep killing us and watching it happen. So you wont have to defend yourself and your huge ass ego Doug. And the truth well thatll be at my table of my enemies. God help the little man.

  4. This song came out the year I found my husband was having a full blown affair. It has taken me this long to be able to listen to this song again and it not rip my heart out. I found love again and I thank both my ex and his homewrecker for being the cheaters they WERE. 🥰💥

  5. WAIT….. Is she the side chick, home wrecker, mistress??????

First time hearing this song, if so thats fucked up people need to respect relationships period. Why do people have to cheat?
Next song in auto play is Better Man that song is golden 👌🏻

  6. every time I watch this video it makes me cry. Jennifer Nettles gives an amazing performance. I know she says the song is not autobiographical but she taps into that emotion somehow. Amazing.

  7. This song relates to those who are dating after a divorce also. Been with the guy for over a year and he still cares more about his ex….. to the point of leaving

  8. My first2 husband's cheated. Then after all the hurt I met the most wonderful man and we spent22 years together until he was taken with cancer
But so glad I took the chance just one more time

  9. i cheated and admitted it, i never married in my life, but yeah it hurts to see what you did to someone you loved. lessons in life ..

  10. I do not recall, when I "liked" this video. But I have "Ugly Man Cried" far more than once. Not for you. But when you began to cry. I had you. I shut mine off. It did not matter that much. I felt. Thank you for this song. ….Over and over again.

  11. I remember when my nephew left my neice she would play this song over and over again. I love you so much. Charlotte Boling.

  12. Do y'all read these comments? If so I seriously need help from anyone my home burned may 31 this year and I have been staying in a tent since then I have a go fund me page. Please I'm so stressed I've had a mini stroke.

  13. She started actually crying during the filming of this and they were going to cut and remake it but she requested to keep it in.

  14. Who ever put her in this much pain fight me fight me right now! SHE DONT DESERVE THIS SHES A BEAUTIFUL WOMEN. This song us so powerful by sugarland. Im 16 I vowed to never cheat relationships are work they are. Dont think cheating will get you out of it if you dont love them anymore break there heart face to face or try and make it work cheating isnt a option.

  15. I have one rule about relationships….respect me or I'm out, quick as a flash. Love is too painful without respect.

  16. Ain't that right Lisa Knight but she called and you sent her away right you and Rick Hudson your Married now what are you talking about your my half aunt you never told me you wanted to fuck what are you making up

  17. I've seen quite a few music videos of Ms Nettles. She has such a beautiful and powerful voice. It touches my soul every time I listen to her sing. Also, with all of the women artists around today that paint themselves up with makeup to make themselves look attractive, they can't come remotely close to touching the level of raw beauty she brings. This video portrays such emotion and passion in her music that it truly touches the soul and speaks volumes to the listener. She'll always be one of my favorites.

  18. I don't think this song gets remembered as the modern classic it deserves to be. It's right up there with some of Tammy Wynette and Loretta Lynn's best stuff for gut-wrenching country music from the female perspective.
