  2. It's too bad Kenny's face looks like he's always blinded by the sun since he got some face work done. At least his music is good.

  4. Superb storying telling lyrics and a catchy hook. Kenny Rogers was one cool cat back in the day and I'm sure he still is of course.

  5. He certainly looks the part! Great song and great performance. I've found that we need to learn when to let go of things. How often do we find that a trivial disagreement rapidly escalates into a full scale war. All we needed to have done was shut up and let the matter drop.

  6. I've never seen a piece of visual media, tv, film, video where less happens than in this. It's 3 minutes of him adjusting his drawers, shifting his butt, taking off his hat, etc.

  7. City, town, hole in . A ton of vandalism. A woman wants to use it against the small village. Salem's Lot. A young boyfriend. She is watching the younger girls for a loser her age! Russell!

  8. 9. Remember my dad playing Kenny Rogers when I was little- never really listened to the song until now, but still know all the lyrics

  10. On a warm summer's eve
On a train bound for nowhere
I met up with the gambler
We were both too tired to sleep
    So we took turns a-starin'
Out the window at the darkness
    The boredom overtook us,
    And he began to speak

He said, "Son, I've made a life
    Out of readin' people's faces
    Knowin' what the cards were
By the way they held their eyes
So if you don't mind me sayin'
I can see you're out of aces
For a taste of your whiskey
    I'll give you some advice"

So I handed him my bottle
And he drank down my last swallow
    Then he bummed a cigarette
And asked me for a light
And the night got deathly quiet
And his faced lost all expression
He said, "If you're gonna play the game, boy
You gotta learn to play it right

You've got to know when to hold 'em
    Know when to fold 'em
    Know when…

  11. Life is like a gamble, before you make next move, you have to be careful otherwise, life is no rehearsal, decisions that we make in life matters alot in future just like gamblers. You make the long move, and everything is gone.

  12. You can break even but a gambler has a lot of high highs and a lot of low lows that the average person will never know fully.

  13. The guy is eating njaro with 10M views here, and some people will shoot videos in the best scenarios and get 270k views, just thinking loud 🤔

  23. I played this for my father inlaw on his last days on earth 2 years ago,
he left us 5days later… we were by our selves as his girls had gone
home to rest & I stayed with him & I played this plus Eddie Vedder 'Breathe' & 2 weeks ago I had my guides drawn 2 Off and
the first line that came across was 'know when to hold them know when to
fold them'…… That went right through my body.
